Crazy Horse War Bonnet
This is the new Crazy Horse War Bonnet, inspired by none other
that the great Oglala Lakota war leader of the 19th century.
This magnificent headdress is completely handmade using jet black
main feathers, tipped with white feather fluffs and genuine horse
hair. More white fluffs are positioned half way down the feather
before reaching the thick row of white fluffs just above the brilliant
red base wraps.
Each feather is hand sewn onto a felt skull cap which is covered
in matching fluffs. A single decorated honor feather is positioned
in the middle of the skull cap in the back of the bonnet.
The beaded brow band and matching rosettes are beaded and sewn
by hand. Beading colors and designs will vary. Strips of white
rabbit fur are wrapped in matching colors and used for drops on
either side. One size fits all.
