This handsome cradle board is made of buttery soft buckskin that has been antiqued by hand to give it that aged, very old look.
It features a large rounded canopy to cover babies face from the sun with wide fringe like flaps.
The leather is held in place with brass tacks. It has an attached medicine bag on one side and a medicine wheel on the other.
On both sides is a deer or elk antler disk with two large feathers. For added decoration is a single line of amber buffalo horn hair pipe and glass crow beads across the center.
This cradleboard measures 12" across by 22" tall with another 14" of beautiful free flowing fringe.
This item is made by Navajo artist, Curtis Bitsui.
