Antiqued Chief's War Bonnet

This is the Antiqued War Bonnet Headdress. It is masterfully handcrafted by the artist, Lillian Romero of the Laguna Nation.

Each imitation eagle is hand painted in such a way to look antique, and then tipped with real horse hair.

The brow band and matching rosettes are hand beaded on a loom, then sewn onto the skull cap which is also covered with leather. A single decorated imitation eagle feather lays in the center.

The drops on either side are actual ring tail, feathers, leather and ribbons.
