Blue Nova Rosette Headband

This beaded rosette headband, entitled 'Blue Nova' was handmade by Native American artist, Dorothy Manning of the Navajo Nation.

The rosette is 4.25" in diameter, and is sewn onto a 2.25" wide leather band, which is also hand beaded. Total length is 16", not including the leather ties at either end.

This type of head band is usually seen on fancy dancers and grass dancers. However, some traditional dancers wear them too. They look great with a roach or bandana.
