A Leather Cradleboard measuring 12" across by approximately 24" in length handmade with chocolate-brown butter-soft leather.

It is decorated with brass studs,cones, beads, bone, glass, abalone discs, feathers and a medicine wheel.

The cradleboard was not only practical and convenient for the mother, but a symbol of her love for her child.

A beautiful 24" cradleboard fashioned by Native American Wetfoot, of the Cherokee Nation.

It features a lovely hunk of curly sheep skin over the top, genuine leather over the body and decorated with brass and wooden beads, leather lacing, feathers, brass disks and a medicine wheel with bone hair pipes.

The interior is lined with the same warm, soft sheep skin.
