Deer Foot Turtle Rattle

Traditionally, these rattles are tied behind the right knee of the dancer during ceremonies. The deer foot represents swiftness and the turtle longevity.

This is a genuine deer foot, with turtle shell rattle, wrapped with deerskin leather, and decorated with fur, horsehair, feathers and beads.

Each one is unique and hand created, therefore may vary slightly.
